Classic Car Show Added to the Menu at A La Carte & Art
Fans of classic, vintage and exotic cars will be delighted to hear that organizers of A La Carte & Art have added a car show –- called "A La Car & Art" –– to Mountain View's popular spring festival of the arts, May 15-16 from 10 am to 6 pm on Castro Street.
Vintage touring cars, custom hot rods, powerful muscle cars, sleek sports cars, and super cool low riders are just a sampling of the seventy cars expected to be on display.
“We’re really excited about adding the car show to all of our other great attractions,” said Julie Smiley, Executive Director of the Mountain View Central Business Association.
The car show is being produced by Let's Talk Events of Redwood City, organizers of the popular Cool School Car Show Tour and numerous summer car shows and swap meets.
A La Car & Art promises to be a lively atmosphere featuring a professional MC, trivia games, prizes and themed "50's car tunes" music filling a full city block on Castro Street between Church and Mercy Streets.
“A La Car & Art” will be limited to seventy pre-registered vehicles, and any year, make, or model is welcome.
Registration fee is $25 for a single day or just $35 for the entire weekend and includes one custom dash plaque and goodie bag per entry.
Car show registration forms are available at http://www.letstalkevents.com or by calling Let's talk Events at 650-368-8212.
The car show is the latest addition to A La Carte & Art, a two-day extravaganza of art, music, food and fun that kicks off the Bay Area's summer festival season. Admission is free.
