Genial George D’Olivo is a kid’s best friend. His company, Classic Amusements, provides exciting rides, games and concessions for special events throughout the West. D’Olivo’s well-maintained equipment, dedicated staff, and selection of sought-after attractions have turned A La Carte & Art into a “can’t miss” event for families.
The Froghopper, a favorite, is a guaranteed tummy tickler, taking riders 25’ in the air and bounce dropping them like a frog. Jump for joy on one-of-a-kind themed bouncers. Kids love their colorful appearance and boundless excitement. The bouncers are forced-air inflated with soft “pillow” flooring and walls for maximum safety. There’s a Dr. Seuss-inspired Cat-In-The-Hat bounce house, Tsunami Tidal Wave slide and the Jurassic Adventure T-Rex Dinosaur obstacle course where kids can run, jump and bounce with their play pals.
Surprise your family and friends and have some fun with a temporary tattoo. Satvir Bhogal is hands-down the best henna tattoo artist around. They specialize in original works of temporary body art. Henna tattooing is an all-natural, pain-free and temporary form of body art. This 5000 year-old practice originated in Egypt where it was used to dye the entire body, nails and hair. As henna made its way to India, the paste was applied to the skin with a stick in intricate designs for sacred ceremonies. To this day, it is used to decorate the hands and feet of Indian, African and Middle Eastern brides because women in these regions are only allowed to show this much skin. Henna paste is made from ground henna leaves powder, tea, lemon juice, and eucalyptus oil. Designs are hand-drawn with the paste incased in a plastic tube or applicator. The henna dyes the skin with a maroon stain which lasts 1 to 2 weeks and fades away leaving no visible marks.
