Festivalgoers will have an opportunity to meet members of the Golden State “Warrior Girls” dance troupe and high-flying team mascot “Thunder” at Connoisseurs’ Marketplace, Menlo Park’s popular festival of the arts, July 19-20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Santa Cruz Avenue.

The Warriors tent will be in the Kids’ Fun Zone, located at Santa Cruz Avenue and University Drive.

Thunder is a 10-time All-Star selection and has traveled worldwide to entertain fans around the globe. Has has dunked over actor Jamie Foxx and 49er Hall of Famer Roger Craig, among others. His heroes are Spiderman and Superman. Thunder just completed his 11th NBA season. He got his start in 1997 having won a worldwide talent search conducted by Warriors talent scouts.
The Warrior Girls are a magnificent melting pot of energy, beauty and talent. This year marked the 22nd year the Warrior Girls have been a big part of the Warriors “Great Time Out”. Their collective talents include jazz, hip-hop, ballet, Hawaiian Hula dance and modern dance.
